Can a vending machine copy documents? Now it can!
! It also can scan, print information from a carrier and accept payments like a payment terminal. The appearance of such a device begins a new direction in vending industry.
While designing this equipment we pursue three aims:
- the device shouldn’t be extremely expensiveã
- the device should be easy in use
- the device should have a modern design
Did we succeed in reaching these aims? Judge yourselves...
We admit we haven’t launched a rocket to the space. Though this technology has been patented, as a matter of fact it perfectly suits our time. It is a great successful technical and commercial solution rather than a kind of discovery.
The device accepts coins and notes for payment. At the end of the work it gives change and prints a check. It means that paying for services is as easy for a user as if he visits a multiplying centre: he will get his change not in handful of coins but in a bundle of notes and only at the end in coins, in the way of face-value reduction.
The place in the centre of a vending machine where the documents are put has no moving parts and no cover, at the same time both single sheets and thick books are easily placed in it.

If a document has a format less than A4 – a passport, for example – the borders will be automatically cropped, so you will get a white sheet with a printed passport in the required place.
The device is equipped with a 17" monitor with a touch glass where you can see the original document in the real-time mode. It will be reflected in a way it is printed - that allows planing the document before pressing the button “Copy” by touching the monitor. In a few second a copy will come out. That is all!
Simultaneously the numbered miniature of the made copy will appear on the monitor. The same procedure will be repeated with next sheets. It means that you needn’t anymore turn over heap of papers trying to remember what documents have already been copied and what ones are to be copied.
The copy machine can work with data carriers - floppy disks and flash memories. It can be useful when you want to make an electronic book from your copy-book notes and save it on a flash memory or a floppy disk which are laid unused in the pocket. Everything is easy and fast. The reverse is also possible: the device will read all files from your carrier and print those you want giving you the opportunity to look through each of them and choose the wanted pages for printing.
As for payments receiving – when paying for communication service, for example, – the device duplicates the work of a payment terminal. At the beginning of the work you can see the main menu on the monitor. Having chosen the wanted service you will get to the corresponding module. The menu and helps are written in Russian (English), so users won’t have any problems.
And what about reliability? In spite of the skeptic attitude towards any things made in Russia, I dare to state this vending machine is quite reliable and fail-safe. If some faults are revealed during its maintenance, we will eliminate them at once.
The device is meant for using mainly in institutes of higher education and other educational institutions, business-centres, legal institutions – in a word, where there is a great demand for such services. The machine consists of strong plastic on the metal basis. The glass of the surface for original documents is hardened and has sufficient strength. The colour of the device represented on the photo is dark graphite, but the client can choose by the catalogue any colour he wants. The device price is now 210-240 thousands roubles, but it depends on completing (on the presence of fiscal registrator, for example). |
