Why is it profitable |

Documents’ copying is a long-standing service. But after many years it remained deficient in institutes of higher education, colleges, registering agencies and other institutions with large documents circulation. Why is it so? In every institution or near it there is a place where you can make copies. Such places may be of small or big number, but there are always lines of people near them. A person who makes copies on a copier considers his work to be exhausting and harmful. It means that the owner of this business will always have lack of personnel. As a rule, the shop is closed at 5 p.m, but after this time the demand even increases because external and evening students begin their studies in the evening.
Copying of documents from carriers and scanning are more “exotic”. You should certainly have a larger area for that: a table with a computer, a chair, a stand with a high board. It results in a big rent. And the most important thing is that you have to pay your personnel… If your employee is a student, a methodologist, a gradient student, or a librarian - in a word, he is related to higher school, - you may agree upon a small wage. But it’s hardly better, as your shop will be regularly closed, and so ineffective.
The vending machine has no such disadvantages. It occupies one square meter area and can work twenty-four hours a day. It has no dinner breaks or holidays. It won’t go out for “15 minutes” lasting half a day. It can work according the desired schedule. At the same time it provides the whole set of services: copying, printing, scanning, receiving of payments.
Of course, it also requires servicing: you are to add paper and change, but this procedure is quick and standard. Thanks to its multifunctionality, the device will never stand workless. If paper is over, the machine’s owner will learn it from web-monitoring or sms-signaling). At that time all other services such as receiving of payments, scanning and saving on a carrier will continue functioning.
The profit has partly seasonal nature – during session time revenue increases four times more. It is a pity to miss this period in case your student employee let you down. Generally, this kind of activity is rather attractive: making copies will always be in great demand. You can make long-term plans. Even if the institution opens its own copying centre, you may turn this initiative to your own advantage. We think only vending machines can fully satisfy the demand for documents copying because they are reliable in work and occupies little space – you can install 5 devices on each floor.
Statistics says, one device situated in the institute of higher education, makes a profit of 500$ a month, during one semester, and from 1000$ a month during session period (approximately 3 months a year). So you can earn 7500$ of clear profit a year except for consumables and rent.
